DAYTONA, Fla. (August 18, 2015) – MarineMax Daytona announced today that they will be hosting an open house on August 22, 2015, celebrating the “Dog Days of Summer” in honor of all boat dogs and their owners.

“We love seeing dogs with their owners enjoying the boating life,” said Kimberly Machnik, MarineMax Daytona Store Manager. “Bring your dog to the party, we have a prize for all of the dogs that attend.”

There will be hot dogs served along with what MarineMax is calling the “world’s largest condiments bar.” Everything from chili to Fritos will be available to make your favorite hot dog concoction. There will be a drawing for a night at the Black Dolphin, New Smyrna’s latest high-end, Intracoastal bed and breakfast.

“We will have new models from Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Scout, Grady-White, Sea Hunt, Harris Pontoons and Scarab Jet Boats on display. In addition, there will be several vendors coming out to support the Dog Days event. Aussie Pet Mobile, Sophie’s Choice Dog Treats, New Horizon Service Dogs, and several others will at the event. The Humane Society will be here accepting any donations you care to give,” explained Machnik.

The Dog Days of Summer event will be from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at MarineMax Daytona’s showroom.

“We are really excited to see all the pets and for those that do not have boat dogs in their lives, we feel sorry for you, but you are welcome as well. Brennan, my black lab, will be there to lead the doggie conga,” continued Machnik. “Whether you bring you dog or not, come and celebrate the Dog Days of Summer with MarineMax Daytona.”
