The show is about to open. The city’s hotels are booked to capacity. The streets are jammed with taxis, out of town visitors and huge trucks towing enormous boats. Restaurants are bustling with the early rising boat prep teams and sales people in their branded clothing with shiny name badges. It’s business as usual at the 56th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Affectionately dubbed FLIBS, this annual vociferous mix of boats, yachts, tents, vendors, docks, boat buyers, sales professionals and gawkers (hull thumpers) is strangely compelling. And, MarineMax is center stage.
As the world’s largest and most trusted recreational marine dealership, MarineMax’s presence can be found in manufacturer displays throughout FLIBS. Check out the Sea Ray display on the Dock GH and at the convention center and you will find MarineMax sales professionals demonstrating the features of the newest models like the all-new 400 Sundancer and the incredible 400 Fly.
Stop by the Boston Whaler Display and the MarineMax sales professionals are showing off the new 330 Outrage, a highly competent offshore center console that has all the features to make it a superb day boat for cruising, playing and socializing.
You will also find MarineMax professionals manning the Scout, Grady-White, Sailfish and Scarab Jet Boats. So, whatever boat class you may be in the market for or if you just want to learn more, stop by and seek out your favorite MarineMax sales consultant. If you don’t have one, please introduce yourself and you will discover an expert well versed in the models that they are representing.
If you are not going to FLIBS this year, follow along as we post from the show. If you never have been to FLIBS, it is should definitely be on your bucket list, just for the amazing spectacle and the awesome people watching.
