MarineMax Panama City to Host a Free Seminar on Catching Elusive Cobia

February 19, 2014 – Panama City, FL – MarineMax announced today that their Panama City store will be hosting a fishing seminar on how to catch cobia on March 8, 2014 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM. Each year around the ides of March cobia begin to appear in the Panama City area waters on their annual east to west migration. The migration peaks sometime mid-April and many consider this the best time to fish the Panama City area. This seminar is designed to provide tips and techniques to successfully catch cobia.

The seminar instructors are professional fishermen Tom Putnam and Tim Broom. They will share their extensive expertise on catching these elusive game fish. Tom and Tim will detail the proper approaches using various rods, reels, tackle and bait. They will also coach on bait presentation and landing techniques for these unpredictable fighters. Printed materials will be handed out for future reference and professional vocalist Bob Fowler will provide entertainment during the halftime break.
